A.D.O.P.T. Pet Shelter is the official non-profit partner of the Naperville Ale Fest.

Their mission: To improve the quality of life of animals and to place them into loving and

permanent homes through rescue, extraordinary and compassionate care and humane

education.

35 years ago, a small group of animal lovers came together envisioning a place where

vulnerable pets could be sheltered and cared for, without risk of harm, while waiting to

be adopted to their forever families. At the heart of their mission was the philosophy that

animals deserve a life with dignity and value. This was and is still today the foundation

of A.D.O.P.T. Pet Shelter.

Today A.D.O.P.T. is proud to remain a no-kill shelter that has placed over 30,000

animals into loving homes. Our dedicated staff and volunteers provide animals with an

all-inclusive approach to care that includes housing, healthcare, enrichment, training

and socialization.

A.D.O.P.T. recognizes the unique challenges involved in caring for an animal and in

response, we opened a training facility and a low-cost veterinary clinic in 2023. Our

clinic and training center provide services to our animals, the public, and other rescue

groups.

We are proud to keep pets out of shelters by supporting families through difficult times

via our Blessed Bonds program. A.D.O.P.T. values all stages of life and believes each

animal deserves a second chance. We will continue our work and evolving to meet the

needs of our community “Until Every Pet Has A Home.”

A.D.O.P.T. has been a beacon of hope for homeless pets in Naperville and the

surrounding areas for over 35 years, placing over 30,000 animals into loving homes.
